RedAmp MTV BOTB @ Mont Kiara Plaza, KL

Absolutely random. Headed to MK Plaza with Nindy to chill when we noticed a massive stage blocking the path to Starbucks. Saw the words "Red AMP" and people soundchecking and stuff. Realized it was Thaitanium (From Thailand) and some Battle of the bands, as we asked a girl who worked with the crew.

Then she told us "We have a guest band too. Hujan".
You should've seen our faces. We were ecstaticccccccc!!!!!

We headed home, I changed, Nindy dropped her stuff, and saw Noh sitting with Izzat and Dimas and stuff.
Me: *taps his shoulder*
Noh: *turns around. stares* EHHH!!!! HEYYY!!!
*HUGGGG!* hahaha

Then we realized Mizz Nina (his girlfrienddd) was performing here with Colby O'Donis (yeah the rapper/dancer dude)

Then Lienne came and joined in the fun of our excitement:

Hahaha! Called up many people to spread the word, and soon we had Ezzart, Moe, Apit, Nayyab and a few others. Nayyab was super in love when she heard Belinda (the emcee) notify the audience about Coldy O'Donis's presence. Hahahah freak.

After a long time waiting for the event to start, and walking around and around and around the stupid huge ass audience area that took up the whole MK Plaza, in order to go to 7e, bank, toilet, etc2, we finally found ourselves in front of the crowd waiting for the event to begin. Thank you Noh, for sneaking us 3 tickets :D hahah!

Hujan was opening the event, but sadly only played three songs, with only one old track. But it didn't matter, "Mencari Konklusi" and "Obsesi" were superb as wellll. :) Hehe. Loved them. They ended the show with "Empayarmu" which was really rare! Weehee!!! :) They always end their Mont Kiara shows with Empayarmu.... weird.....

And yes, I have very litte pics because my camera was outta batt. -_- I didn't know about this event so I didn't have time to charge it!

Then the BOTB finals began, with four bands (with Stonebay out of the wild card!), inclusive of Indonesian, Thai and Pinoy bands.

I enjoyed the Thai band, they played really funky stuff, though as Ezzart said, the bassist lacked the groove needed. The Indonesian band was singing in Mandarin (apparently one of the first to do so in Indon after the language is reallowed) and had cool anime-like costumes. Lol. Then the Pinoy band was alright, the girl was awesome but she was in the background half the time. Hm.

Thai band: 69

Then it was STONEBAY! Hehehe, what else? We were screaming from the crowd and it was hard for the judges to say no to this band, when the crowds were so in love with them. They sang "Si Murai Penipu", as expected, and did a briiiilllliant job! :)

Then it was Nayyab's turn to go ecstatic with Colby O'Donis as he went on stage along with Mizz Nina to do her single "What You Waiting For". Not bad. Just spent the whole time laughing at the boyfriend and Izzat singing along all the way XD

Looked at the time, realized we were late for jamming so we sent Nayyab home and drove to Ampang, missing the last few bands. All in all, a surprisingly great event! :) Hehe.

Celine will never get sick of Hujan.
