Like Father Like Son Jam Session @ Grido Studio, KJ

Headed to KL Central at 6.30pm and met up with Jarrod, Moshi and Mia, before heading to KJ, Grido Studio. Chilled downstairs at Syed for a while and watched the Germany-Serbia match, laughed at some random guy's 100% semangat when Germany almost scored, and went up to Grido which had already begun to fill up.

First two bands were acoustic sets, Rizal & Mesin Pembunuh and Akustika Bendera Hitam. Lovely tunes coming from Rizal, Nakid and Fael.

Then it was us, M.O.I.S.T. The punk crowd didn't really know how to go dancey to us, but it was aite, at least we managed to play a gig :) Hehe.

Corporate Youth was next, and as usual, they were energetic and got the people moving and trashing around. I had to be Vinesh's assistant in holding the micstand in case someone crashed into it. Haha.

Went back inside after talking with CY about chilling at Rizal's after the show and caught Alif's band, One Week Weekends (I think that's the name?). Really good stuff actually, they've got a good guitarist. Enjoyed the solo bits and stuff.

Back to us, Rotten Ruckus. Played four songs, ending with the infamous Fuck Police Brutality that had everybody singing along and moving about like maniacs. :) Enjoyed the set.

PunahRanah. Damn, they were gooood. I was awed at the drummer, per usual and ended up cracking jokes about how the vocalist would sink really low when growling and tilt his head up high when screaming high notes. HAHAHA. Great, great stuff.

Had to head to Uptown Damansara to jam with Enrai so I missed the rest of the jam session, then Mukhriz picked me up from akarkarya and we headed to Rizal's. Sung Grease, played the guitar, bullied the cat, drank, laughed, joked around before finally heading to Taman Tun for a drink and back home (Thanks Mukhriz for being my driver of the night!).

Celine really enjoyed the night, with friends and music.
